Administration

Gurmuu is a membership organization established by 140 members who convene the general assembly (the supreme organ). It has autonomous board with seven members elected by the general assembly that provides overall policy guidance and direction. A director, designated by the board, is responsible for the smooth operation of the day-to-day operations of the organization. The organization is structured with three units that have specific responsibilities.

The program unit is responsible to facilitate program development, implementation and monitoring activities; the Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting and Learning (MERL) unit is responsible for the overall planning and quality assurance activities; and the finance and admin unit which is responsible for handling the financial, logistic and HR activities.
