Administration

Gurmuu is a membership organization. It has over 140 active members who convene the general assembly (the supreme organ of the organization). It has executive board with seven members elected by the general assembly that provides overall policy guidance and direction. The organization is structured with three units that have specific responsibilities. The program unit is responsible to facilitate program development, implementation and monitoring activities; the Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting and Learning (MERL) unit is responsible for the overall planning and quality assurance activities; and the Finance and Admin unit, which is responsible for handling the financial, logistic and human resource activities.
