Asnaku Tsehay is one of the women on success road with the benefit from the project of IIWF! Like other women, Asnaku has been one of the poverty stricken persons. But she says, “those dark days have passed! I am now a different woman living better life than the past; I have got many skills from the SHG project supported by Gurmuu. I have the skill of making business, produce fuel efficient stoves and encouraging other fellow women to come out of poverty being a facilitatorâ€.
As she has witnessed, she has been a member of women SHG, but with her potential and project support, she was posted to serve as community facilitator of the SHG project, with seed money support from the IIWF established small retail shop of local materials, consumables and fuel wood saving stove (received technical training of producing fuel wood stoves).
She says, Galatooma! “Many thanks†to Gurmuu and its supporters of poor women/IIWF,I and other SHG women are earning better and leading happy life than the past.
